“ This Bun Bo Hue and Banh Canh spot is my favorite so far in the Bay Area -- I'd honestly drive over an hour just to get here! From the moment you walk in, the servers seat you right away, and the menu is simple and easy to navigate. The sauce that comes with the Banh Canh Cua is tangy and spicy, which was absolutely amazing! I'm also a huge fan of the Bun Bo Hue here. The service is quick, and the restaurant is so clean, making for a great overall experience. Definitely worth the drive! ”
“ Absolutely spectacular - gimme 17 more! The spot for Hue style bun bo hue, banh can, banh bớt lộc, banh nam. I go here when Im craving central Vietnam (Hue) cuisine. The broth flavor is crazy good, meat is tender, herbs are fresh. Not to mention the restaurant ambiance really takes me back to Vietnam. Love it - highly recommend! ”
“ Came here on a weekday for dinner with friends, menu is small but everything is delicious! Really hits the spot when you and your friends are all craving Vietnamese food but want both bun bo hue and banh beo. The server was very nice and patient with us as we were ordering, and the place is fairly clean. The music here slaps!! We were bopping and dancing in our seats to the Vietnamese music they play here! Definitely plan to come back again and may make this own of our group's usual rotation! ”
“ Bun Bo Hue is my all-time favorite Vietnamese dish, and this spot does an excellent job delivering on flavor. Our waiter was so kind and enthusiastic--he was thrilled to practice his English and did a fantastic job taking care of us. We ordered the Bun Bo Hue, Banh It Ram, and Banh Beo, and everything was delicious. The restaurant also has a lovely atmosphere, with beautiful paintings that add to the charm. I'd absolutely come back ”
“ Located in the Vietnam Town. There's a decent amount of parking but it's very busy and took us forever to find a spot. There's outdoor seating as well. Ordered the bun bo bue and appetizer combination sampler. The BBH was just ok as the broth didn't have much flavor, wasn't spicy, and noodle was just ok. The appetizers were good and comes with fish sauce. My favorites were the 2E steamed dumpling atop fried and the 2B rice cake with shrimp sauce. ”
“ We visited for lunch and there was no wait. We ordered two noodles and an appetizer. A Bun Bo Hue, Bun Rieu and Banh Beo Kho. Everything was good. But they did forget my husband's pork blood in the Bun Bo Hue. The broth was hot and perfect for the cold weather. Nothing was that spicy so our toddler ate too. Would visit again to try other items. Next time Im trying the Mi Quang for sure! It's in Vietnam town so parking is private lot but always full over there. ”
“ My friend and I saw a lot of hype about this place on IG. It's located in Vietnam Town so the parking situation is a little crazy. We managed to find a spot on the side of the plaza near Grand Century Mall. We were seated pretty quickly and service was good. We both ordered the bun bo hue. The flavors were good. I was a little disappointed by the sparse amount of herbs and bean sprouts. I love throwing in a ton of bean sprouts into my bun bo hue. They had the banana blossoms which was good. Our food came out pretty quickly and we paid up front. No frills, but the decor inside was pretty nice. Might come back for their other dishes. The bun bo hue didn't blow me away. There are definitely fewer clientele than the popular bun bo hue an nam across the street. Though it is more affordable here. It definitely scratches the bun bo hue itch. ”
